Urban Sensorium is a research project exploring how children aged 2-7 use their senses to learn and how urban interior design can enhance this process. Grounded in developmental theories, it emphasises the importance of sensory-rich environments for cognitive growth and creative play.
Evolving Home is a transformation of an existing house that preserves its historical façade while adapting the interior to meet the changing needs of a growing family. The design journey began with the creation of a fictional client using ChatGPT to understand the evolving lifestyle and requirements of the family.
Once a close-knit community of policemen and their families, living in a prestigious dormitory, found themselves surrounded by hundreds of strangers. This shift can be likened to the Tower of Babel, where over time, the residents “grew apart.” Despite speaking different dialects, the need for a strong community has never been greater.
